Student field trips to the farm
Visiting groups of youth (K-12) can explore the many wonders of the Farm and Stella Gardens at Michael Fields through hands-on, experiential activities, games, and seasonal care of the vegetable and herb gardens. These activities foster a greater understanding of soils, plant identification, nutrition, and healthy ecosystems.
Gardening changes with the seasons. Thus, our age appropriate activities also reflect these seasonal changes.
